Taily ("the App") is a pet health & care journal. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
Everything you enter in Taily — pet profiles, health records, medications, vaccinations, weight, feeding and care logs, photos and documents — is stored only on your device. We do not upload it, we have no servers that receive it, and we cannot access it. Deleting the App deletes this data.
Taily does not require registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any contact information. Owner details you optionally enter in the App remain on your device.
To understand which features are used and to fix crashes, the App collects anonymous usage statistics via PostHog (hosted in the EU): app-lifecycle events, feature-usage events, device model, OS version, and app version, associated with a random identifier. This data is not linked to your identity and never includes your pet records, photos, documents, or any text you enter.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Notification permission is requested by the operating system and can be revoked at any time in system settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Taily does not provide a diagnosis. Always consult your veterinarian.
We may update this policy; the current version is always available at this address.
